DISTINGUISHED LECTURE SERIES

To promote scientific temper among faculty and students, the University level Lecture series committee was formed. The committee identifies the well-known personality and organizes the lectures. On 29th January 2014, the inaugural lecture was organized and Prof V S Raju, Former Director, IIT, Delhi spoke on “You have the potential in you to become an excellent teacher”.

The 2nd lecture was organized on 27thNovermber 2014 by Prof. Rajan Gurukkal, former Vice Chancellor Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala on “Quality education: Challenges and possibilities”. This event has been planned primarily with a view to facilitate all round development of our students by giving a wider exposure from top achievers of our country. Dr VikramVisaji, Head, Department of Kannada, is the Coordinator of Lecture Series Committee.
