A teacher by choice and by plan Safia Parveen has been
in academics for a decade. Before joining the Central University of
Karnataka, she was with Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering
College, Bellary as the Coordinator of the Department of Management
Studies. Having completed her MBA from PG Centre, Bellary in 2000,
she specializes in Finance and Marketing. Brilliant at academics all
through her career, she has won many laurels as a good debater and
an orator. She has presented papers in State and National level
conferences and was a part of Faculty development programme in IIM-B.
She is presently pursuing her PhD in “Knowledge Management Practices
in Steel Industries- A case of some select steel units of North
Karnataka”. She specializes in Knowledge Management, Strategic
Management and Business ethos. She has also been State First Rank
holder in English Typewriting Senior, English Shorthand junior and
Intermediate. Her other areas of concern and interest are Inclusive
Development and Personal Effectiveness. |
